Quick answer

Wings of Time is on Siloso Beach, on the west of Sentosa's southern coast. Go directly to the ticket counter to redeem your voucher, and arrive early for seating.

Sentosa is an island off the southern coast of Singapore's main island, separated from it by Keppel Harbour, with an area of close to 5 square kilometres. Siloso Beach lies on the west portion of the island's southern coast, and Wings of Time is among the attractions on that beach, alongside dining and shopping outlets, Wavehouse, iFly Singapore and AJ Hackett Sentosa. The organiser's page describes the show as set against the open sea at Siloso Beach. The beach is artificial and was built with reclaimed sand. Sentosa's beaches are divided into three portions: Palawan Beach, Siloso Beach and Tanjong Beach.

Sentosa Express to Beach Station

The Sentosa Express is a monorail that serves the island, and Wikipedia says the island is accessible by it. Beach Station is its southern terminus, between Siloso and Palawan beaches. The organiser's directions for the show say to alight at Beach Station and walk to the show, so it is the stop to aim for. Siloso Beach is on the west portion of the island's southern coast, which makes the station the natural point of arrival for an evening visit. Check the operator's page for current service before you travel.

By cable car

The Singapore Cable Car is a gondola lift that provides an aerial link from Mount Faber to Sentosa island. It is a ride in its own right as well as a way across to the island. The Sky Pass card on the home page covers the ride, and it is a separate purchase from the show ticket, so check that the ride you book suits the evening you plan. The cable car keeps its own operating hours, which its operator publishes.

By car or taxi

The organiser's directions say to park your car at the Beach Station car park, then walk for about five minutes to the show. Wikipedia says that Sentosa can be reached from the Singapore mainland via a short causeway or Cable Car. If you arrive by car, allow for the walk from the car park as well as for the queue at the ticket counter, and do not assume that the nearest road is the nearest door. Leave time at the end of the evening to walk back to the car park in the dark.

On foot, and choosing a route

Wikipedia says that visitors can also access the island via the Sentosa Boardwalk, which is parallel to the causeway. The island is close to 5 square kilometres, and the show is on the west of its southern coast, so work out the final leg on the day with the island's own map. As a rule, the monorail is the simplest route because Beach Station is the stop the organiser names, the cable car is the scenic one, and the car park suits visitors who already have a car. Pick one route in and note the route back.

At the counter and at the gate

Go directly to the Wings of Time ticket counter to redeem your voucher. After booking through GetYourGuide, an advance seat reservation is also required on the attraction's website, and its details come after booking, so have your confirmation ready on your phone. Gates open 15 minutes before the show starts. Guests are encouraged to arrive early for seating, because latecomers may be denied entry once the show begins. The seats are wooden benches in various zones, so arriving earlier gives you more choice of position. Guests aged 4 and over need a ticket, so check each child's age before you queue.

Seats, children and wheelchairs on arrival

The organiser describes three ways to watch: standard seats are shared wooden benches at various zones, premium seats are individual back-rested seats, and Show & Dine is an elevated, air-conditioned viewing area with a set meal. The ticket on this site is the standard seat. Guests aged 4 and over need a ticket, and the organiser lists Adult for ages 13 and above and Child for ages 4 to 12. Wheelchair-accessible seats are available in the front row of the seating gallery, and the organiser asks guests who need assistance or alternative arrangements to speak with its staff.

Weather, wind and spray

The organiser calls the show multi-sensory, with water fountains, fire effects and geysers, cold pyrotechnics, lasers and fireworks. It says that effects such as fireworks may be modified or omitted due to weather conditions such as wind. It also says that smoke, mist, water spray, dust and occasional sparks may be present, and it advises guests who are sensitive to them to sit toward the rear of the gallery. Attendance is voluntary and at each guest's own risk, and guests must comply with the attraction's guidelines. A light jacket, a plan for a phone that may get damp and a seat toward the back are the practical answers. Because the ticket is non-refundable, read the advisory before you pay.

What else is on the beach

Siloso Beach is a place for beach volleyball and other outdoor activities such as canoeing, skimboarding, mountain biking and rollerblading. It has dining and shopping outlets, and attractions including Wavehouse, iFly Singapore and AJ Hackett Sentosa. Lifeguards on the beach wear red and yellow uniforms. Past events there have included the annual ZoukOut. Fort Siloso, the only surviving coastal gun battery of Fortress Singapore, is also on Sentosa. A short beach walk before the gates open is an easy way to use the time.

Afterwards

When the show ends you are on the beach, with the dining and shopping outlets along it. The resorts on the beach include the Rasa Sentosa Resort at the western end, the Siloso Beach Resort and the Costa Sands Resort Sentosa, according to Wikipedia. The monorail and the cable car keep their own operating hours, so check each operator's page for the last service you plan to use before you commit to a plan for the evening. If you drive, remember the short walk back to the Beach Station car park.

Who this isn't for

This guide is not for anyone who wants door-to-door directions from a particular hotel; those depend on where you start, and a map app handles them better. It is also not a timetable, a fare table or a promise about how long each leg takes on a busy night. Transport on Sentosa is run by several operators, so the organiser's own page and the operators' pages are the places to confirm what is running on your night, and the booking confirmation is the place for your seat details. It does not cover seat availability, which is decided on the attraction's own website after booking.
